Datt Capital offers two core investment funds: the Datt Absolute Return Fund, which targets consistent, risk-adjusted returns across a flexible range of asset classes; and the Datt Small Companies Fund, which focuses on identifying undervalued Australian small-cap stocks with scalable long-term growth potential. Both funds are designed to support portfolio diversification and long-term capital growth for wholesale investors.
Datt Capital’s funds are available to different investor classes depending on the fund structure. The Datt Small Companies Fund Class A and the Datt Absolute Return Fund remain available exclusively to wholesale and sophisticated investors in Australia, as defined under the Corporations Act 2001, including individuals with $2.5 million or more in net assets or annual incomes above $250,000 over the past two financial years. The Datt Small Companies Fund Class B is now open to retail investors.
The minimum investment for the Datt Absolute Return Fund is $100,000 and is available to wholesale and sophisticated investors only. For the Datt Small Companies Fund, Class A requires a minimum investment of $50,000, while Class B is open to retail investors. Existing investors can top up from $5,000. All investments remain subject to eligibility requirements under Australian regulations.
The primary risks are key person risk and liquidity risk. The Fund Manager is solely accountable for the Fund's investment decisions. If the Fund Manager is unable to continue, the Fund will be prudently liquidated with investor capital returned. Liquidity risk is mitigated through appropriate position sizing, prudent liquidity management and a strategic allocation to cash.
